16-021 Overflow Printing

Tender description

RMBC are looking to put in place a framework agreement for the purpose of procuring printed material which meets the needs of the Authority and its customers. RMBC currently has two main methods of procuring printed material, either through a framework agreement or via the internal print department. “Overflow Printing” consists of printed goods usually of medium to high quantity and of a recognised high specification/quality level, which even with the modernised machinery within the internal printing department, could not or would not be produced internally as part of best practice and value for the authority. The internal Print department and design studio act as a brokerage and corporate branding service for and on behalf of the authority for overflow printing services. RMBC expenditure on Overflow Printing is estimated to be £60,000 per annum. However this does not carry any guarantee of turnover and any estimated volumes of business are indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on actual future needs. The framework will be let for an initial period of 12 months with the option to extend for a further 3 years, each on a year by year basis. The details set out in this ITT are given in good faith and believed to be correct.
