Summary of the work After a successful procurement the current system is reaching the end of it shelf life and a new system is to be deployed with appropriate direction, governance, assurance, implementation and transformation. Expected Contract Length 3 months with possible extension Latest start date 01/11/2016 Budget Range £80,000 to £90,000 inc. VAT Why the Work is Being Done After a successful procurement the current system is reaching the end of it shelf life and a new system is to be deployed with appropriate direction, governance, assurance, implementation and transformation. Problem to Be Solved Partner required to support the programme team with the following services: 1. Supporting the Programmes Outcomes 2. Supporting Governance throughout the programme 3. Ensuring the transformation flow is identified, defined and managed Who Are the Users There are approx. 5,000 end users who are currently being trained on the new solution and work across approx. 150 locations. Early Market Engagement None Work Already Done Work has started in early 2016 and the successful partner will be fully briefed on the work completed so far and the programme of work to be completed. Existing Team The existing programme is a blend of FTE’s complemented by contract staff and specialist companies. Current Phase Beta Skills & Experience • Have demonstrable success in the delivery of programmes within the last 12 months, using industry programme management methodologies. • Demonstrable experience of matrix-managing a multi-disciplinary programme team within the last 12 months • Have demonstrable experience in reporting, planning, risk, dependency, financial and change management aspects of a Programme within the last 12 months • Demonstrable expertise in the transition of programmes into a live service environment within the last 12 months • 5. Experience of working in places of detention Nice to Haves • Need to Collaborate with various senior key stakeholders across multiple organisations. • Need to demonstrate a flexible approach • Need to operate in a workplace with mixed skills and experience • Need to demonstrate an honest and transparent approach • Need to demonstrate positive behaviours and a can-do attitude • The approach will require discipline and capable of working across organisational boundaries in a very demanding, high-output environment Work Location London based with nationwide travel Working Arrangments Client site based and frequent travel nationwide Security Clearance SC security cleared Additional T&Cs Standard Contract No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 3 Proposal Criteria • Willingness to align with the current programme approach • Team structure, organisational make-up and quality of submitted CVs. • Value for money of the proposed solution. A place of detention is defined as; Police Custody, Courts, Prisons etc.Any successful bidder will require resources that are appropriately security cleared from day one and have experienced that can be evidenced of working in places of detention for the delivery of ICT solution supporting healthcare in places of detention
