Soft Market Test -Provision of Residential EMI Short Term Care Beds & Day Support for People with Dementia Purpose Providing high quality, accessible and affordable support and services for people living with Dementia and their family carers remains a key priority for the City Council. The City Council is keen to hear from providers who currently provide or would be interested in providing Short Term Residential EMI Care and/or Community based Day Support to help support people to maintain their optimum quality of life, promote their independence and provide relief for their carers by providing a break from their caring role. This Soft Market Test (SMT) is not a Competitive Exercise. The purpose of this SMT is to gather information about the current market and to explore the range and type of support that may be available across the city and the wider provider market. The information you provide along with feedback from users and carers will be used to inform the City Council future commissioning and procurement plans.
