Tender description

ESPO worked on behalf of Leicestershire County Council ‘the Council’ to undertake a procurement process to identify and appoint a number of Service Providers to provide Community Life Choices. A variety of services and activities will be offered in a list format to an estimated 650 Service Users, who have a Council managed budget. The Framework, of independent providers, is required to meet the needs and wishes of Service Users with a learning disability, physical disability (including sensory impairment and acquired brain injury), mental ill-health and older persons, through the provision of meaningful activities during the daytime,with a focus on progression and community integration. Learning Disability — Individuals of 18 years and above, with a learning disability, living in Leicestershire and whose funding has been agreed by the Council. Physical Disability, Sensory Impairment, Acquired Brain Injury — Adults 18 years and above, living in Leicestershire, who have a physical disability, acquired brain injury (ABI), long term neurological condition and those with a hearing. Mental Health and Memory Cognition — aged 64 and under — Individuals of 18 years and above, living in Leicestershire, with needs relating to complex and/or enduring mental ill health, dual diagnosis (e.g. physical,learning disability and substance misuse) and Asperger Syndrome, whose funding has been agreed by the Council. Mental Health and Memory Cognition — aged 65 and over — Individuals of 18 years and above, living in Leicestershire, with needs relating to complex and/or enduring mental ill health, dual diagnosis (e.g. physical,learning disability and substance misuse) and Asperger Syndrome, whose funding has been agreed by the Council. Older People (aged 55+) — Individuals of 55+ years and above living in Leicestershire. This may include but is not limited to people with additional support needs and social care inputs arising from multiple disabilities such as physical disabilities, sensory impairment, learning disabilities, complex mental health needs, enduring mental health needs and autism.
