North Lincolnshire Council is inviting tenders for the supply and delivery of Triple Finishing Flail Mowers to support the Council's Grounds Maintenance operations. The council reserves the right to use an electronic reverse auction to seek best and final bids. North Lincolnshire Council is inviting tenders for the supply and delivery of Triple Finishing Flail Mowers to support the Council's Grounds Maintenance operations. The complete mower must comply with the following: All applicable Health and Safety Regulations, Construction and Use Regulations, PUWER, Any other EC or local type approval. The machine must be fitted with all necessary warning and safety signage. The vehicle must be supplied with a trading standards approved weighbridge weight ticket showing the registration number. Training of basic operator training to enable compliance with PUWER for a minimum of sixteen (16) operators. Maximum un-laden weight 1 400 kg including flail units, Transit speed minimum 15 mph, Minimum 44 hp diesel engine, Hydrostatic 4 wheel drive transmission c/w electronic diff. lock. 3 independently controlled heavy duty flail cutting heads, Power assisted steering to the rear wheels, Maximum cutting width (minimum) 2.1 metres.
