Summary of the work To provide business and process analysis to support the delivery of strategic organisational change and IT projects and programmes, including delivery of the vanguard IT programme. This is essential for documenting and streamlining processes, driving efficiencies and understanding requirements for organisational change. To provide a consistent delivery using a standard’s based approach fully supported with documentation. The service will have reporting requirements and a continual improvement strategy. Description of Services - To provide a Managed Service to Dudley CCG to deliver its longer term IT and change strategies. The services will need to be provided by a blend of permanent on site resource and the provision of additional offsite resource as required. These services are detailed below. Given the current known activities and strategic plans of Dudley CCG it is clear that significant activity will continue for the foreseeable future and that actual resource requirements are likely to fluctuate during this period. A flexible model will therefore be required through the provision of experienced and professional resources to fulfil the needs of Dudley CCG, with the ability to increase the provision as required. The following services are therefore specified as a minimum FTE (Full Time Equivalent) requirement: • Strategic Advice and Strategy Development • Programme and Project Management • Enterprise Architecture • Solution Architecture and Design • Business/Process Analysis Who Speclialist Work With NHS Dudley CCG What Specialists Work On The following are Initiatives under the programme but additional ad-hoc project requests will be required. The scope of the role is broad, is it possible to split this role across multiple specialists within our organisation? The scope isn’t specific to one individual and can be split across a number of specialists, we are looking to have a head IT lead that can draw on specialist expertise from within their organisation that is specific to the various projects outlined in the scope of the specification. 3. We have a few questions that will help us qualify our ability to respond to this request: - Scope - is the requirement for business process design as opposed to solution design? - Working arrangements - is the specialist is expected to work on-site in Dudley 5 days per week, or can we propose alternative arrangements? - How essential is experience of EMIS and GP systems, if we're able to meet all other criteria? - Is the specialist proposed expected to have all essential experience themselves, or is experience shared across our organisation sufficient for us to qualify? The scope covers both solution design and business process designWe would expect there to be a number of specialists working on site over the period of the contract with the Head of IT lead having a presence in Dudley for at least 3-days per week and call on other specialists as and when required which may be on or off-site.Experience of EMIS and GP systems is essential, the main focus will be on Dudley CCG member practices systems which consist of 46 separate practices, the specialist will be required to have indepth knowledge of EMIS and GP Systems. 4.
