Tender description

As set out in national legislation, children and young people in Herefordshire may be eligible for funded short breaks if they have a condition diagnosed by a doctor or consultant and substantial, long lasting, permanent, physical and/or learning disability or a life limiting, life threatening condition. Short breaks for disabled children are part of Herefordshire's local offer for children, young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families. This Tender focuses on the Market Support and Development element of the Short Breaks re-commissioning program. Individual project and service delivery offers are also being tendered for separately and at the same time under the auspices of a DPS for ‘Activities and Short Breaks for Disabled Children’ please go to www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk for further information about this DPS.
