Why the Work is Being Done To ensure detainee’s in temporary places of detention receive the same medical help and treatment as a person outside of temporary custody. In addition to this, to ensure continuity of care for any detainee in the criminal justice system. To aid this approach, any healthcare professional within this setting, should have the means of connecting via the N3 network, utilising an NHS PC and Smartcard to connect to NHS SPINE services. In addition to this the ability to record contemporaneous notes on an electronic medical record system. Problem to Be Solved Partner required to support the programme team with the following services: 1. Supporting the Programmes Outcomes 2. Supporting Governance throughout the programme 3. Supporting the design of a TPP SystmOne Police Custody Module 4. Supporting the design, configuration, implementation of N3 connections, PC’s, printers, scanner etc. into over 80 sites nationwide 5. Data Gathering to ensure all service user are engaged and their requirements documented and defined with appropriate assurance and sign off 6. Support the project in delverinig the outcomes Who Are the Users There are approx. 200 places of temporary detention e.g. Police Custody suites and other places in England. There are various healthcare provider, both private and public sector providing care in the temporary estate. Proviiding the ability to check detainees medical records is paramount to the safe and secure detention of the patient. Early Market Engagement None Work Already Done Work has started in early 2016 and the successful partner will be fully briefed on the work completed so far and the programme of work to be completed. Existing Team The existing programme is a blend of contract staff complemented by FTE’s and specialist companies. Current Phase Discovery Work Location London based with very frequent travel nationwide. Approx 80% travel away from home in one week Working Arrangments Mostly onsite at end user sites Security Clearance Warwickshire Police NPPV Level 3 Metroplitian Police Service NPPV Level 3 NOMS Security Clearence (SC) Additional T&Cs Standard Contract Skills & Experience Have demonstrable success in the delivery of NHS network and ICT infrastructure projects within the last 12 months, using industry standard methodologies, processes and procedures Demonstrable experience of matrix-managing a multi-disciplinary programme team within the last 12 months Have demonstrable experience in reporting, planning, risk, dependency, financial and change management aspects of a ICT Refresh project within the last 12 months Demonstrable expertise in the transition of projects into a live service environment within the last 12 months Experience of working in places of temporary detention delivering ICT networks, infrastructure and services Experience and knowledge of design and implementing an ICT refresh solution in Police Custody Healthcare Nice to Haves Experience and knowledge of working in ICT within Courts and Tribunal settings.
