Why the Work is Being Done To ensure detainee’s in temporary places of detention receive the same medical help and treatment as a person outside of temporary custody. In addition to this, to ensure continuity of care for any detainee in the criminal justice system. Problem to Be Solved Partner required to support the programme team with the following services: 1. Supporting the Programmes Outcomes 2. Supporting Governance throughout the programme 3. Ensuring the transformation flow is identified, defined and managed Who Are the Users There are approx.200 places of temporary detention e.g. Police Custody Suites and other places in England. There are various healthcare provider, both private and public sector working in the estate. Providing access to detainee medicla rcords is paramount for the safe and secre detnetion of the detainee. Early Market Engagement None Work Already Done Work has started in early 2014 and the successful partner will be fully briefed on the work completed so far and the programme of work to be completed. Existing Team The existing programme is a blend of FTE’s complemented by contract staff and specialist companies. Demonstrable experience of matrix-managing a multi-disciplinary programme team within the last 12 months Have demonstrable experience in reporting, planning, risk, dependency, financial and change management aspects of a Programme within the last 12 months Demonstrable expertise in the transition of projects into a live service environment within the last 12 months Experience of working in places of temporary detention delivering ICT networks and infrastructure Experience and knowledge of design and implementing an electronic medical record system in Police Custody Nice to Haves Experience and knowledge of working in Courts and Tribunal settings No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 3 Proposal Criteria Willingness to align with the current programme approach Team structure, organisational make-up and quality of submitted CVs.
