Event Security, Stewarding and Safety Services at Manchester Central Convention Centre

Tender Code: SSS-012-2016 Manchester Central is currently looking for a Contractor to provide workers for a range of event services, including security, stewarding and safety. The Contract period will be for three (3) years with the option to extend for up to an additional two (2) years. It is intended for the contract to commence in March 2017. Further information about the Venue can be found at http://www.manchestercentral.co.uk/ The last date to request documentation for the tender will be Friday 14th October 2016. Invitations to Tender (ITT)’s will be sent out on Monday 17th October 2016 to all organisations expressing an interest in this contract. A site visit will be held at Manchester Central on Friday 28th October 2016 for any interested parties (date may be subject to change). The closing date for receipt of completed documentation will be Friday 25th November 2016. Manchester Central may request bidders to provide short presentations following the submission of ITT documents and these are anticipated to be held between Monday 5th December and Friday 16th December. All necessary information will be provided nearer the time. It is anticipated for the contract to be awarded in January 2016 with a targeted start date of March 2017. Manchester Central does not undertake to bind itself to accept the lowest price or any individual Tender. Manchester Central will not be liable for any costs incurred in tendering for this contract.
