Condition Surveys – Procurement of Professional Services

PLEASE NOTE: This tender relates to consultancy services only. Project/remedial/new equipment work identified as a result of the condition surveys will be subject to a second tender process. The successful supplier for the Condition Survey tender will have a role in managing the contractor(s)appointed as part of the second tender. Therefore it is unlikely that the successful supplier for the condition survey tender will be eligible to quote for the second project related tender due to the potential conflict of interest. The objective of this service specification is to cover the requirements of service providers to manage the London Borough of Lewisham’s (LBL) Kitchen condition surveys. The purpose of conducting these condition surveys is to allow LBL to plan a kitchen investment strategy over the next three years. The information in the reports will be used as the basis for a tender to kitchen contractors to carry out the recommended works. As such all recommendations in the reports should be structured in a way that they can be easily priced by a contractor i.e. they need to be clear, detailed and where possible referenced to accompanying drawings and photographs.
