Approved Provider List for the Provision of a Tier 2 (Lifestyle Interventions) Weight Management Service for Buckinghamshire County Council

Tender description

We are seeking to commission service providers to deliver an accessible tier 2 lifestyle adult weight management service, which supports overweight and obese adults to lose weight and learn how to maintain a healthier weight, and that will form an integral part of the local weight management care pathway. This service contract is for 1 year only. There is a limited capacity for this service with a current budget of £99K for the 1 year contract. The current provider list expires in March 2017 and a new integrated lifestyles service is being planned for April 2018 – hence the need to commission a provider list for 1 year to maintain the service in the interim period 2017- 2018. A full tender for an integrated lifestyle service incorporating weight management is likely to be advertised mid 2017. Keywords: Weight Management
