North Kesteven District Council is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified organisations wishing to be considered via pre qualification on the tender list for the cleaning of Communal Areas within Sheltered Accommodation. The contract is for the regular internal cleaning, floors (carpets, tiled and linoleum), walls, doors, stairs and balustrades, window sills, sanitary ware, surfaces within kitchenettes and common rooms, entrance porches and external bin sheds, as well as internal and external window cleaning of the communal areas in buildings located in Sleaford, Heighington, Heckington, Methringham, North Hykeham, Bracebridge Heath, Waddington, Ruskington, Billinghay, Wiebourn and Greyless. The contractor is required to perform the cleaning services in a proper skilful and proficient manner, in accordance with agreed specifications. This is an excellent business opportunity to contract with North Kesteven District Council delivering Cleaning Services in Communal Areas of Sheltered Accommodation situated in various locations throughout the District. The contract is for the regular internal cleaning, floors (carpets, tiled and linoleum), walls, doors, stairs and balustrades, window sills, sanitary ware, surfaces within kitchenettes and common rooms, entrance porches and external bin sheds, as well as internal and external window cleaning of the communal areas in buildings located in Sleaford, Heighington, Heckington, Methringham, North Hykeham, Bracebridge Heath, Waddington, Ruskington, Billinghay, Wiebourn and Greyless. The contractor is required to perform the cleaning services in a proper skilful and proficient manner, in accordance with agreed specifications and in overall conformance with an agreed designated cleaning schedule. The contractor shall provide the service safely and in such a manner that generally presents a positive image of North Kesteven District Council to residents and their visitors. In addition and at selected sites, the contractor will also be required to provide consumables to communal ablution areas. The contractor will be required to provide the communal area cleaning service 52 weeks of the year. In certain circumstances due to planned events this may include weekends and public holidays at some sites. The Contract will be let for an initial period of three (3) years intended to commencing Feb 2017 with the option to extend for a further period of up to twelve (12) months up to a maximum contract period of four (4) years.
