Tender description
Expressions of Interest are requested from suitably qualified Civil Engineering Contractors who operate as Principal Contractors as defined under the CDM Regulations 2015.The works will involve widening of footways, alteration of existing kerb lines to provide parking bays, build outs and bus lay-bys. Footways are to be reconstructed and the carriageway is to be resurfaced. The value of this work is expected to exceed £1.0million and is part of the regeneration of Prestwich town centre. It is anticipated that tender documents for the ITT stage will be issued early November 2016 with proposed construction starting on site January 2017.
