TEST QUOTATION EXERCISE - PLEASE DO NOT EXPRESS INTEREST Bury Council currently provides waste collection services to over 82,000 households, principally based upon a three weekly waste and recycling collections and fortnightly collections of biowaste. Traditionally waste collection rounds have been designed manually. But with the complexity of the 2 and 3 weekly collection infrastructure Bury Council is seeking quotations for an off the shelf route optimisation software package together with relevant training and support to assist in the ongoing modelling and optimisation of its waste and recycling collection services. To be considered the software must have a proven track record and be successfully in use in a similar environment elsewhere.
