Market Engagement for Tele-dermatology service - for Surrey Downs CCG

Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wishes to undertake early market engagement for the provision of a community Tele-dermatology service. The early market engagement will initially invite interested service providers to complete and return the questions contained in the Request for Information (RFI), which is attached. The aim of the market engagement exercise is to help refine the commissioning approach and inform the development of the service specification and to gauge interest in this opportunity. Feedback from the market will help inform the procurement strategy including whether a competitive procurement process is appropriate. If NHS Surrey Downs CCG determines that a competitive procurement is appropriate then the following timescales are likely to apply: 1. 2016/17 - Procurement will commence 2. 2016/17 - Award of Contracts 3.2016/17 - Commencement of new Service, NHS Surrey Downs CCG is likely to offer the successful provider a three year contract with the option to extend for either 12 or 24 months. As part of this market engagement exercise NHS Surrey Downs CCG want to hear from potential service providers to understand their views, any suggestions and proposals. To do this a Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire has been developed and is attached for completion. Responses to all the questions should be provided as a single document and shouldn’t exceed more than 2,500 words. All submissions will be treated confidentially. In order to submit your completed RFI, you must register on the E-tendering portal ‘In-Tend’ express an interest to the Project Reference number F9564, download the document and upload your response by the deadline date of the 10th February 2016 4pm. Service Specification The existing service specification has also been attached to the Contract Finder advert to allow interested providers further information about the service.
