Tender description

The Inorganic Chemistry Section is an analytical laboratory whose primary task is the analysis of trace concentrations of pollutant indicators such as pH, BOD, ammonia, suspended solids, chloride, COD, nutrients, DOC, etc. which may be found in freshwater, seawater and wastewater mostly under the requirements and in compliance with EU directives. The section requires a replacement BOD Measurement Robot (with LDO Optical probes) for analysis of a wide range of matrices, to include, freshwater, groundwater, farm effluents and industrial, trade and wastewater effluents. It is the intention of the laboratory to integrate the BOD Measurement Robot with an existing Thermo LIMS system. The instrument's software would, therefore need to be fully compatible with the current LIMS system.
