Tender description
Liverpool City Council and Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council on behalf of their Children and Young People’s Services are looking to contract an Information, Advice and Support (IAS) Service. The IAS service will offer independent information, advice and support to children, young people and parents and carers to increase their involvement in the education of their children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The service will also ensure that parents, carers and young people have access to information and advice about issues relating to the child or young person’s health and social care. The IAS service will enable the Councils to meet their statutory obligations as set out in the Children and Families Act 2014. Keywords: Support, Information, Advice, SEND
