Tender description
As a reissue of our initial questionnaire (published 13.3.2015), London Boroughs are engaging providers of sexual health services for further views. In particular, solely about a prospective London-wide On-line Service, we are considering a number of options and are seeking your views on potential service elements, currently expected to incorporate the following elements: — Development of a single brand for sexual health services for London, to consolidate the marketing and advertising of services to London residents by the appointed provider; — Development and maintenance of a website that: o Assesses a user's clinical need and identifies the most suitable suite of tests and self-collection consumables to be used; o Generates a unique patient ID that enables the user to log on to their account and maintain their own confidential sexual health service user record; o Processes and delivers kit requests from eligible users; o Provides test kits for alternative services or sites for self-sampling o Books appointments in mainstream terrestrial Sexual and Reproductive Health services commissioned by Local Authorities for those ineligible for remote services provided under this agreement, confirmatory testing, treatment and vaccines. — Pathology services for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV, Syphilis; — Results management and advisory services; — Remote treatment of uncomplicated genital Chlamydia infection; — Index and service-led partner notification for infection testing; — Contact tracing across both online and physical sexual health services commissioned by local authorities; and — Management Information. At present, 28 London Boroughs and the City of London (referred to here as ‘29 London Boroughs’) are working together to develop the London-wide On-line Service model. They are: Barnet, Bexley, Brent, Bromley, Camden, City of London, Croydon, Ealing, Enfield, Hackney, Hammersmith and Fulham, Haringey, Harrow, Havering, Hounslow, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Redbridge, Richmond, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Wandsworth and Westminster.
