Tender description

The East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) is tendering for a single provider to provide the Mental Health Promotion service. This agreement will commence on 1.4.2016 with the initial core term expiring on 31.3.2018. Subject to satisfactory performance and budget availability the option to extend for up to a further 24 months (at the sole discretion of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council) may be exercised. These services will promote the prevention and recovery of people in the East Riding of Yorkshire who are or may be affected by mental health issues by: i. Provision of a public-facing mental health information service to reduce the prevalence of mental health problems; ii. Increasing the recognition of mental health problems; iii. Promotion of skills in self-management of mental health problems; iv. Promoting the engagement of people with mental health problems (and their families) in the community; v. Ensuring that those individuals who need help receive appropriate and proportionate care and treatment from other specialist services.
