Tender description

The Common Service Agency (commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland) (‘The Authority’) intends to establish a national framework agreement Patient Advice and Support Services. The Patient Advice and Support Service is an independent service which provides free, accessible and confidential information, advice and support to patients, their carers and families about NHS healthcare. Where those affected wish to give feedback or comments, or raise concerns or complaints about NHS Treatment, suppliers will: — Help them to understand their rights and responsibilities; — Support them if they are going to a meeting; — Help them write letters and make phone calls; — Help them access their medical and clinical records; — Help them find health services and social care; — Help them access the treatment, care and support they need; — Provide regular Management Information and Reports as defined by the Contracting Authority. This list is non-exhaustive but gives an early indication of the requirement and the exact services to be procured will be detailed in future tender documentation.
