GBC NB Traveller Site Design and Build

Tender description

Prior Information Notice: Guildford Borough Council, the Contracting Authority, have a requirement to design and build two new Traveller sites, to include six pitches, on two adjacent local authority owned sites in a rural location within Guildford Borough, Surrey. The Contracting Authority anticipates project delivery using the Design and Build route and is preparing to invite tenders from Design and Build contractors in March/April 2016. The successful tenderer will be responsible for all design and build functions and activities to design, construct and deliver two fully completed traveller sites, consisting of hardstandings for mobile homes, detached and self-contained utility blocks, construction of new surface and foul water drainage and all other above and below ground services, hard and soft landscaping, including access ways, on site circulation for vehicular and pedestrian traffic and boundary fencing. Guildford Borough Council would like to invite suppliers to express an interest in this project and welcome any questions relating to this project.
