Tender description

Portsmouth City Council ‘The Employer’ has established a multi-supplier framework agreement for the Design, Supply and Installation of Photovoltaic (PV) Panels and associated works to residential, educational, community and commercial properties. The framework for the design, supply and installation of 2 x 25 kWp grid connected PV systems to St John's Court. The framework will be open for a maximum duration of 4 years during which time the framework agreement will also be available for members of the Portsmouth Regional Procurement Partnership (PRPP) plus East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) to use. The framework is set up concurrently with the letting of a contract for the design, supply and installation of 2 x 25 kWp grid connected PV systems to St John's Court, Portsmouth. The Employer has entered into a multiple contractor framework agreement which will be used to appoint Specialist Contractors for the Design, Supply and Installation of Photovoltaic (PV) Panels and associated works to residential, educational, community and commercial properties, with projects ranging from approximately 4 000 to 250 000 GBP in contract value. Although individual contract values are unlikely to exceed 250 000 GBP, there will be no cap on the maximum value of any project that can be tendered through the framework. The Employer has established the framework concurrently with the letting of a contract for the design, supply and installation of 2 x 25 kWp grid connected PV systems to St John's Court, Portsmouth. The estimated value of the works allocated to this project is 50 000 GBP.
