Tender description

Derby City Council has a responsibility to provide suitable accommodation and support for Care Leavers up to 21 years, 18-21 year olds and up to 25 years if still in education or training, Looked After Children leaving foster and residential care 16–18 years and homeless young people 16-17 years who become children in need/children in care with a range of presenting needs. The aim of this Framework Tender is to contract with a number of Providers to provide a range of accommodation and support to meet the individual needs of each young person. The outcome will be to enable the young person to develop and gain the necessary skills to live independently as well as encouraging Education, Training and Employment with an emphasis on good Health outcomes. The framework will have providers with a range of accommodation and support packages who will bid for referrals put out by the Commissioning and Placements Team. Lot 1 Children in Care and Care leavers. Cat 1.1 Emergency provisions (short-term). Cat 1.2 Transition provision from Foster and Residential. Cat 1.3 Independence and move on (inclusive of outreach support).
