Summary of the work The Business Analyst will work with the Business Project Manager to finish the completion of requirements documentation. Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length Up to 6 weeks Latest start date 10/10/16 Maximum Day Rate £650 Who Speclialist Work With The Business Analyst will work under the direction of the Business Team Project Manager, and will work as part of a wider project team. What Specialists Work On The outline brief is to: 1) Consolidate the information we have collated in to unique requirements; 2) Identify the main user groups and business needs; 3) Draft functional and non-functional requirements in to a pre-defined format of tables; 4) Review and incorporate changes into subsequent drafts as directed Skills & Experience • Have 3+ year’s prior experience of requirements building/specification • Be experienced in working in agile environments with sprint targets set and reviewed on a weekly basis, managed by an in-house Business Project Manager • Have the people skills to work with senior stakeholders to secure access to interviewees in their working environment; and with front line staff handling operational delivery of services • Be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to elicit the necessary information from interviewees to understand the wider context to make educated guesses where the information is not present Nice to Haves • Prior experience working in a government setting • Comfortable working with Google Docs + Excel Work Location Environment Agency, Horizon House, Deanery Road, Bristol. Working Arrangments Up to 4 days per week during October, some of which will be onsite in our Bristol office. An additional number of days (up to 8) in November, some of which will be onsite in our Bristol office.
