Interpretation, Translation and Transcription Services

Liverpool City Council (LCC) is currently carrying out an internal scoping exercise with a view to procuring Interpretation, Translation and Transcription Services in the future months. The Services required at this stage will be to manage all, or, a large proportion of communication support requirements, whilst offering advisory and administration support. The following Services that LCC only envisage as being required at this stage (subject to change) will consist of the following; Interpreting • Face to Face Interpretation Services (Verbal) • Face to Face Interpretation Services (Non-Verbal) • Telephone Interpretation Services • Video Interpretation Services (Verbal) • Video Interpretation Services (Non-Verbal) Translation, Transcription and Additional Services These service elements are to either: • Translate or arrange for written material to be translated from one language to another as text; • Transcribe audio files, tapes and other electronic media into written and/or electronic text documents in the same or different languages; • Transcribe written documents and/or electronic media into alternative formats such as (but not limited to) Braille, Easy Read, Large Print, Audio, Video and Pictorial English.
