Tender description

This procurement process is intended to find a suitably qualified provider to deliver a Young Persons Substance Misuse service across Barnsley. The Children and Young Persons Trust is committed to delivering an effective substance misuse and treatment service at the earliest opportunity to all young people in Barnsley. For the purposes of this exercise the term substance misuse will be used to mean alcohol and drug misuse. The aim is to provide a comprehensive service response that achieves the following: Identifies children, young people with substance misuse issues early. Intervenes at the earliest opportunity. Offers a menu of targeted and treatment options to children and young people. Together this will ensure that children and young people are prevented from becoming adult problem drug and alcohol users, supporting them to reach their full potential to be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being.
