Gosport Millenium Bridge -Drive Train Capital Repairs 2016/17

Tender description

Gosport Borough Council have engaged consultants to work up a scheme of mechanical replacement and minor upgrade to return the bridge to fully functional operation. This involves working at height and over water. The work necessitates support of the counterbalance weight and removal of the lifting chains; replacement of motor, gearbox and lifting chain sprockets. Gosport Borough Council invites suitably qualified contractors to download the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire and submit completed forms by email to propserv@gosport.gov.uk.
