Tender description

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) intends to invite bids for either individual material lots or combinations of lots. It is anticipated that the contract will be for a period of 3 years with up to additional 12-month option. The contract start date is scheduled for March 2017. The contract will be divided into category lots for each material. Bidders are invited to submit a tender for single or a combination of all lots. Although bids encompassing the management of all lots will be considered, all lots will be independently evaluated. The estimated value of all lots is 400 000 GBP - 500 000 GBP. At the early scoping SPT believe there will be between 6-8 lots. It is anticipated that the scope of materials covered under the contract will include, but not be limited to; fixings and fasteners, brakes, metal supply / fabrication, Brushes, consumables, hoses, bearings, insulators and power tools.
