Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council have a requirement for Traffic Management services to support the day-to-day work activities within the Local Authority. BMBC requires the Contractor to provide when requested temporary traffic management solutions for its street works, private and public roads/highways/footpaths/bridleways in the entire BMBC region. The provision of the services will include the installation, maintenance and removal of all signing and guarding on various highway and street lighting schemes on behalf of our Highways Construction Department and our Sub-Contractors. The required services will be predominantly required for local roads and 1 high-speed Dual Carriageway — the A6195 Dearne Valley Parkway. Works included but not restricted to: — Temporary Traffic Signals (2-way and Multi-way); — Lane Closures; — Road Closures and Diversions; — Advance Warning Signs for Highway Schemes; — No Parking Signage and Coning in Advance and During Highway Schemes; — Letter Drop to Affected Frontages; — Pedestrian Management for Footways; — Speed Restrictions for Temporary Traffic Regulation Order Works; — Out of Hours Maintenance Checks on Static Sites; — Provision of Traffic Control Safety Officer as and when required.
