Tender description
Sefton Council is looking for a suitable Supplier to carry out Property Valuations throughout the Sefton area. As part of its obligations under the Care Act 2014 Sefton Council’s Adult Social Care department operate a Deferred Payment Scheme, which allows people who live permanently in residential accommodation to defer some of the cost of their care fees using their home as security. The Council effectively “loans” clients the money to pay for their residential accommodation, accruing a debt against the property, which is secured via a land charge.
