Supply and Installation of Spectrofluorometer System

Tender description

Supply and Installation of a Spectrofluorometer System comprising the following: • Computer controlled modular spectrofluorometer (T-configuration, only one of the port will require a detector in this tender) allowing front face and right angle measurements; • A Xenon lamp as light source; • Unlimited (in time) license for the program used to analyse the data with possibility to export data as .csv, ascii and/or txt files; • The system should contain double grating excitation and emission monochromators, computer adjustable bandpass and fully reflective optics; • The sample chamber should be able to accommodate 4mL 1cmx1cm quartz cuvettes, thin films on glass plates (with horizontal rotation of the sample possible) and powders and should allow for the use of filters in both excitation and emission; • Possibility to maintain temperature of the sample between –20 to >60 ºC (water bath not included if water-bath based technology); • A cold-finger (Dewar) for maintaining samples at 77 K, including top hat cover; • A TCSPC system to measure lifetime at least 50 ns-100 s range; • Excitation light sources for TCSPC (375 and 405 nm) with high repetition rate available; • Photomultiplier with emission detection range at least 250-850 nm; • An integrating sphere, with necessary accessory for liquid and solid samples if standard 1cmx1cm cuvette cannot be used; • Fully automated polarization accessories for excitation and both emission channels; • Delivery and installation of the spectrofluorometer on university site; • Training users on university site; • At least 12 months warranty with possible extension; • System must be fully upgradable in future.
