Tender description

This contract is primarily to structurally test and inspect the integrity of 26,027 Apparatus to reduce the possibility of failure. This contract, supplementary to Institution of Lighting Professionals Technical Report 22 (2007 Edition 3) (TR22), is intended to identify those inspection and testing parameters in a Non Destructive Testing (NDT) manner. The Contractor shall prepare and develop a Programme in accordance with Good Industry Practice and in order to meet the requirements of the Contract. The Programme shall set out a detailed plan on a street by street basis, of the Non Destructive Testing to be performed following the planned date of the Contract commencement. The Contractor having made due enquiry and established details of all significant transportation projects or other programmes of works that the Council or a third party is planning to carry out during the Contract Period and details of how the Contractor has incorporated any changes required.
