Tender description

The District Councils of Devon sweep around 6 000 tonnes of waste of organic nature as part of their road or pavement sweeping operations. This tendering opportunity is for the collection of the Authority's swept organic waste and its subsequent treatment to achieve a compost-like end-product and including the end-product's subsequent end-use. The Contract will be for an initial duration of 5 years, with option to extend up to a further 4 years. This procurement exercise will follow the Public Contracts Regulations 2015's Competitive Procedure with Negotiation. For further information on the tendering procedure, please see section A3 of the Invitation to Submit Initial Tender. The Authority reserves the right to award the Contract on the basis of the initial tenders without conducting negotiation.
