Principal Inspections and Assessments of Highway Structures - Phase 36 - Revision A

Tender description

Suitably qualified and experienced civil engineering consultants are sought to undertake Principal Inspections in accordance with BD 62/07 and BD 63/07 and Assessments of highway structures in accordance with BD 56/10, BD 48/93, BD 21/01, BA 16/97, BD 44/95, BD 61/10 and BA 55/06. The commission comprises approx 24 structures (bridges, footbridges, culverts, retaining walls etc.) with submission of an individual report for each structure as well as completion of a CSS bridge inspection pro forma for each span of structure and the compiling of an MS Excel spreadsheet (template to be provided) with each span per structure entered into the spreadsheet for the establishment of evaluating bridge condition indicators. Note, 3 structures are on the ELR line between Bury and Rawtenstall.
