Tender description

NHS Brent Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG) wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced providers to submit tenders for the provision of GP Access Service. The Brent GP Access Centre is delivered at the Wembley Centre for Health and Care, and has been commissioned by NHS Brent CCG to deliver treatment for minor illnesses and injuries without the need for an appointment (staffed by experienced nurses and GPs). It provides for access to GP services for registered and unregistered patients without the need for a booked appointment. The contract duration will be one year, with one optional extension for up to one year. It is intended that the new service will commence from 1.4.2017. The anticipated annual value is c.1 100 000 GBP, before any additions for the recovery of accommodation costs. The total value of the contract for the full 2 years is c.2 200 000 GBP, before any additions for the recovery of accommodation costs. Instructions on pricing can be found in the ITT. The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the ‘Regulations’). As such, the procurement of the Services is being run as a bespoke, single-stage application process akin to the Open Procedure. Brent CCG does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to Schedule 3 services. This opportunity is also being advertised on Contracts Finder.
