Tender description

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified firm to carry out access improvement and woodland management works to Granny’s Wood, Llanhilleth to help improve links between the Llanhilleth Town Centre to the Miners Memorial site. It is anticipated that the works will comprise of landscaping and environmental improvement works consisting of removal of fly tipping/litter, clear scrub to footpaths, repairs to railings, construction of crushed stone and macadam footpaths, construction of steps, woodland management, erosion control using gabion baskets, supply/installation of interpretation panel and entrance feature and supply/installation of pedestrian counters. Tender responses must be submitted via the Etenderwales by no later than 12:00 noon 5th October 2016
