Tender description

NHSBT requires a contract for the replacement of its Baxter Optipress II Semi-automated blood presses (aka component separators). NHSBT also requires a support (maintenance) service for this replacement equipment. The contract NHSBT plans to procure through this process will not guarantee any volumes. NHSBT projects it will need to purchase 180 presses (less if the presses tendered have advantageous performance characteristics per the evaluation methodology of the ITT) over the life of the 10 year contract should it purchase any presses.
