Tender description

The primary purpose of this PIN is to notify the market of NHS Enfield and Haringey CCG's intention to re-procure services for Comm Gynae and Urology Service using the Any Qualified Services Model. The current contract is due to expire shortly, but will be extended to the end of Mar 2017. The Commissioner is looking for suitably qualified and experienced providers to continue with the provision and development of a broad range of high-quality services which are currently delivered within the community setting. This to include the scope to provide additional pathways and services throughout the duration of the contract. The service provider will be expected to provide a patient-centred model of care closer to patients' homes, clear improvements to the patient experience, patient safety and clinical outcomes. Amongst other metrics, these benefits are be assessed via patient-reported outcome and experience measures which should be able integrate effectively with the Enfield health economy. Lot 1 is for the Community Gynaecology Service in the Borough of Enfield. Enfield CCG is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to provide a high-quality gynaecology service The primary aims of the Community Gynaecology Service are to: Deliver a consultant-led service; Provide patients with equity of access to high quality, safe and clinically effective care; Improve patient satisfaction with services; and To deliver cost effective NHS services. Lot 2 is for Community Urology for the London Borough of Enfield and Haringey. Enfield CCG is looking for suitably qualified and experienced organisation to provide high-quality Urology service for the Enfield population. This will include providing the current provision of Community services and potential scope to provide additional pathways throughout the duration of the contract. The service provider is expected to provide a safe, flexible and efficient community based service which is closer to home for people registered with an Enfield GP. The service should have a clear pathway which will enable patients to be seen in a timely fashion by appropriate clinician with the appropriate skills.
