Brodsworth Hall - M&E Infrastructure and Window Repairs

Tender description

This contract is to undertake works at Brodsworth Hall, nr Doncaster which is a Grade I listed house with a substantial collection contained within. The house is managed by the English Heritage Trust on behalf of Historic England (The Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England) who own the building and gardens. The works to be undertaken are to: • Undertake various window repairs to the first floor, undertake various repairs to the ground floor French doors and some associated masonry repairs and to repair the roof lanterns to the Billiard Room and Old Kitchen. • Undertake M&E works which includes replace existing heating systems and humidity controls and an element of security system works. These works are to be undertaken whilst the house and gardens remain open to the public and the appointed contractor will be expected to engage with our visitors as part of visitor experience to help them understand what works are being undertaken and why these are critical to the future of the house.
