Window-cleaning services

Tender description

Nottinghamshire County Council (the ‘Council’) wishes to procure 2 contracts for cleaning services covering the cleaning of windows, frames, skylights, sills, signage and gutters (the ‘Services’). 1 contract is for the Council and its customers. The other contract is for the Libraries Mutual called Culture Learning & Libraries (Midlands) (‘CLL’). The 2 contracts will be awarded to a single contractor. The initial term of the contracts is 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years in increments of up to one year. The anticipated contract start date is Monday 9.1.2017. The annual value of the contracts is estimated to be between 100 000 GBP and 250 000 GBP in total across the 2 contracts. The other contract is for the Libraries Mutual called Culture Learning & Libraries (Midlands) (‘CLL’). In the future the scope of the contracts may broaden to include specialist cleaning e.g. use of hydraulic platforms to access windows and/or deep cleaning of windows at heritage sites and other services associated to the Contracts.
