The Installation of Festive Lighting in Formby Village Christmas 2016

Sefton Council is looking for a suitable supplier for the installation of Festive Lighting in Formby Village for Christmas 2016. Each year Sefton Council organises the lighting for the Christmas festivities in Formby Village. The Event includes a variety of festive entertainment for all the family including fairground rides, Christmas market stalls, BBQs and other food vendors, a visit from Father Christmas and non-stop entertainment on the main stage during the Switch on event. This is a hugely popular event that is well attended each year. Specification The suitable Supplier is to provide the following Labour element only as all lights tree etc remain the property of Formby Village.: • The Electrical Testing • Installation • Removal and safe storage of festive lighting equipment in Formby village. • The erection, removal and storage of 28 x 40 Inch Pre-Lit Wreath Warm white LEDs weighing approx 3kg • Column display to be fixed on existing lighting columns already drilled with grommet and cable to existing timer and terminate. • The erection, removal and storage of Snowman decoration Approx 3.0m high x 1.0m diameter base. • Tree to be erected onto existing concrete base and cable to be terminated into existing feeder. • The erection, removal and storage of 5 Large sail LED column display, approximately 2.00m high x 1.00m wide, weighing approximately 20.0 kg. Column display to be fixed on existing lighting columns already drilled with grommet and cable to existing timer and terminate Equipment as stated above is to be erected no later than Monday 21 November 2016 and a full pre-switch on test is to be completed 48 hours prior to main switch on event on Sunday 27 November 2016 at 17:00 hours.
