Special-purpose road passenger-transport services

Tender description

Lambeth Council will be tendering the Home to School transport contract for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with an estimated start date of 1.9.2017. The Council is also appraising the option of including the Adult home to day centre transport services as a part of this procurement exercise/contract. Delivery options for how this would work most effectively are yet to be decided and we seek the market's views on possible delivery options and contractual models. At this stage of the process, final decisions have not been reached as to the scope of the service, nor how the service is expected to be provided. We are looking for potential providers to respond to a number of questions to help inform the development of the specification to ensure that the best service is achieved within the funding envelope across both services.
