Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS) for Support Services for Children, Young People & Families

It is intended to establish a Pseudo dynamic purchasing system (PDPS) in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015, Regulations 74 -76 (Light Touch). The aim of Support Services for children and their families is to provide individualised programmes of support which build on the strengths of families and enables: • Parents and carers to fulfil their parenting and caring role and for families to lead ‘ordinary lives’. • Enable children and their families to engage in life enriching activities within the community and have improved quality of life. The PDPS is split into eight lots as follows: • Lot 1: Care and Personal Support (including domiciliary and social care) • Lot 2: Complex Health Needs • Lot 3: Education and Learning Support • Lot 4: Behaviour Support • Lot 5: Short Breaks / Leisure, Outreach and Recreation • Lot 6: Family Support • Lot 7: Support Planning • Lot 8: Other specialist services including Brokerage Providers can apply for all or individual lots. The PDPS length is 10 years. The PDPS will remain open during the 10 year period; this means that following the initial assessment and establishment of the PDPS, providers can apply to be added to PDPS at any point in time. Although providers may apply at any time, applications will only be assessed by the named organisations then added to the PDPS at certain points during the year.
