Modification Notice Original description: Provision of On-Line Databases and Publications and online Standards with Hardcopy Facility Description of the modifications Framework arrangement has had a number of new authorised demanders added since the contracts implementation. Individual call-offs are given financial authorisation on a case by case basis and charged against individual UIN’s. The estimated total value for the contract (£7.5 million) had been exceeded and an uplift was required to cover overspend. The predicted value has been increased to £11,394,750 to cover future call-offs between now and the contract expiry. Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances: The contract value was estimated based on the previous contract. Due to the increased number of Authorised demandeds the estimated value predicted at the point of award has been exceeded therefore an uplift has been required.
