Tender description

Bath & North East Somerset Council is looking to procure a new supplier to produce, print and distribute its highly successful, currently quarterly residents magazine, to every doorstep in the Bath & North East Somerset area. The magazine is also made available on-line. The magazine is regarded as its flagship communications product and the Council is seeking proposals and new ideas with the intention of awarding a contract at the turn of the Year. The current magazine costs the Council approximately 40 000 GBP per annum. The Council is seeking to reduce this cost. The Contract shall be for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 1 year. The procurement procedure for this tender will be the Competitive Dialogue Procedure to allow suppliers and the Council to explore options and ideas. The Council considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of supplier will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
