Tender description

Insurance Broker Services and associated consultancy including amongst other things the provision and servicing of a risk financing programme; dissemination of best practice; a single risk transfer solution; participation in Consortium Management, Insurance Group, Working Group, individual member and any ad-hoc meetings; general advice; assistance with tenders for insurance services and the renewal of risk financing contracts; statistical reporting; identification and development of potential new markets for Police risks including alternatives to risk financing; renewal services; general day-to-day guidance and administration. In addition to the suggested range of services above, some members or the consortium may purchase additional menu services such as full tendering for insurance requirements. The above named forces participate in the full range of services but the British Transport Police also attend insurance group meetings but have separate broker and consultancy arrangements.
