Tender description

This service specification is for an Integrated Rehabilitation Beds Service for People over 18 requiring care home based rehabilitation to prevent hospital admission or to facilitate hospital discharge. Rehabilitation care home beds are currently provided under a range of models which will be replaced from 2017 with a single model. Hertfordshire County Council in partnership with East & North Herts Clinical Commissioning Group and Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group wish to commission the new model of Integrated Rehabilitation Beds from 1.4.2017 until 31.3.2019 for 2 years, with the option to extend by up to 2 years on an annual basis. This procurement is an Open (one stage process). Suppliers wishing to take part in this project are invited to ‘express interest’ which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. The deadline for Expressions of Interest is Tuesday 8.11.2016. To be considered as a Bidder you must complete and submit a Bid by the deadline of 12 Noon on Tuesday 8.11.2016. Tenderers should be aware that due to the nature of the Services provided, any Contract formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed and attested under the common seal of the Council.
