Tender description

Wirral Council is seeking proposals for two separate lots from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of Sexual Health services: LOT1: Integrated Sexual Health Service LOT2: Specialist HIV Prevention and Support Service. The aim of the Wirral Integrated Sexual Health Service is to manage and deliver an efficient and clinically effective service that responds effectively to the sexual and reproductive health needs of Wirral residents. The service will effectively triage service users as appropriate to their healthcare needs and provide lower risk individuals the option to use remote (home-based) sexually transmitted infection sampling services. The Wirral Integrated Sexual Health Service will be a non-judgemental and inclusive service which treats service users with dignity, respecting gender, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental health ability, religion, culture, social background and lifestyle choice. The aim of the service is to deliver a high quality, accessible specialist HIV prevention and support service in Wirral that will: — Facilitate access to HIV testing, early diagnosis and treatment initiation where indicated — Reduce onward transmission of HIV — Contribute towards the achievement of the PHOF target (late HIV diagnosis) — Support the health and wellbeing needs of people living with HIV and at risk individuals.
