Alan Wood leads an External Advisory Board for LA review project. This complies with a commitment made in the Educational Excellence Everywhere white paper to review the responsibilities of local authorities in relation to children. Alan Wood’s experience in local government and his track record of supporting our reform agenda makes him the best candidate to chair External Advisory Board meetings and participate in accompanying activities, including stakeholder engagement, chairing more focused meetings around specific subjects, commenting on drafts of the reports.
